The short story is that El Toreador is owned and operated by three brothers, Mark, Eric, and Wayne.  It was originally opened in the fall of 1979 by their Mother.  Mark has promised that he will sit down with his mom and get the full story "real soon" for posting here, including the origin of her incredible recipes.  So the next time you drop in for lunch or dinner ask your server (which will likely be Mark, Wayne, or Eric) when they are going to get their story on the web.
